Important Information for Artists
1. Artwork requirements: All submitted artworks must be created using a minimum of 95% recycled materials.
2. Categories for Entry: Art, ‘Functional Upcycling’ (Artwork that is also functional), Youth (18 and under).
A maximum of 4 artworks per artist. Entry fee is $40 per piece. Youth section: 1 artwork per artist only and no entry fee required.
3. The Artist takes all responsibility for the transport of the artwork to and from the location.
4. Photography: Artists must email at least two photographs of each completed entry by the end of February 2027
5. Exhibit Ready: All work must be ready to exhibit and labelled on the back or bottom with the artist’s name and title of the work.
6. Sales: 15% commission on all sold artwork.
7. The Exhibition Catalogue Booklet will list all artwork information in the venue that artwork is being displayed. And available at each venue during the Exhibition.
8. Delivery Dates: Saturday 13th March and Sunday 14th March 10 am to 4 pm. (Emails will be sent prior with delivery location)
9. Prizes: There will be a prize awarded to each category.
10. Equipment availability: 2x hand trolleys, 2x 1 metre a frame ladder, 1x 3.5 metre a frame ladder, 1x 5 metre extension ladder, 1x 2.2 tonne fork lift, 1 x scissor lift.
11. Placement of works: Artists have the option to nominate a preferred site for their Indoor or Outdoor works with reference to numbered positions on provided plans. Positions are indicative only with final placement to be at the sole discretion of the curator who will work in consultation with the artist.
12. Site Meetings: Successful applicants must be available to attend a site meeting if required by the curator at a convenient time to finalise the location and logistics for installation of works.
13. Maintenance of works: Artists are responsible to maintain their works in good order and condition for the duration of the Exhibition.
14. Artwork Removal: Sold artwork must remain on display until the end of the exhibition (Wednesday 31st March) unless other arrangements are made.
15. Pick-Up Dates: Wednesday 31st March or Saturday 3rd April. 10 am to 4 pm.
